  1. Here are my plays.

    Hand 1.

Bet $20-22 to get value, protect equity, and keep your range strongish looking.

    Hand 2

Bet $15 same reasons as above mostly, you figure to have best hand a good %.

    Hand 3

I give up. Complete wiff and players are willing to fight on paired boards.

    Hand 4

I surrender, same as above. i know you have position and all but still. Nobody is folding anything and to win you are going to have to fire multiple streets. F that.

    Hand 5
I bet $18-20 to build big pot or get fold, str8 flsh draw.

    Hand 6
I check, way ahead way behind.

These hands all seem kind of obvious to me, that being the case I can pretty safely assume my lines are all wrong.

  2. Hand 1:
4 to the flop, mptk, nut bdfd, 2 to act behind. I would not cbet. You have two to act behind and decent equity, but would have to fold to any raise. Betting here and then giving up is giving value to any T, which is likely given calling ranges and 3 of them. If you check you have relative position on the short stack so you'll get to know if he shoves before you decide whether or not to call a possible bet. I'd call a single bet seeing that you have 15 cards that improve your hand and re-evaluate on the turn.

    Hand 2:
3 to the flop, two toned board, underpair, 1 to act behind. I would check and if checked through probably bet the turn. You have a solid hand, but can't play to a raise. I don't think you are going to get much value from flopped pairs smaller than yours by betting, so I think a cbet just sets yourself up to get moved off the pot by a flush draw or give value to a Q.

    Hand 3:
bet half pot, fold to any raise. I think half pot cbets work great here. I don't think people want to get involved with this board unless they have something so I think it's a bet fold.

    Hand 4:
Since you have essentially no equity in this pot and it's a pretty dry board I think it's a mandatory cbet. Since your bet is not representing a 3 and you I'd bet more than half pot here, $20 or so.

    Hand 5:
bet 18. You have good equity now, but this hand gets harder to play on the turn w/o imo. Betting now maximizes fold equity and also gives you a better possibility of getting a free river card.

    Hand 6:
imo, being aggressive on the flop seems like the best possibility of you getting action from a worse hand such as an Ace on this board. I'd bet half pot $44 to make somebody with an ace think that they can't possibly let you take the hand away for that cheap, also more likely to entice a raise. With the pot starting off this large I can't see you not getting it in against the few possible better hands, so I think the main focus is getting value out of the worse hands.

  3. thanks for the responses. here are my actions and reasoning...

hand 1: A9s oop on T92r - i bet $16 into $26. i think i would check IP, but i thought that by betting i could a) set price v. Tx, b) avoid giving a free card to hands like 86s or KQ, c) comfortably fold to raise, since i don't expect anyone to bluff-raise on a rainbow flop 4-ways and i don't have that much equity v. a value raising range.

hand 2: TT on Q53t - i bet $15 into $19. i bet to buy the button and get value from the fishy looking stack in the bb. im not too worried about facing a raise, since there's a smallish stack in the bb (keep btn honest). i also think c/c is pretty gross here, as we cant improve and will likely face at least one more bet before we get to showdown.

hand 3: KTo on AA7t - i check/folded here. i think this could go either way; the fact that btn was monkey dissuaded me some.

hand 4: i c/f there also. i agree that it's a mandatory bet HU, and maybe should be a bet 3-way.

hand 5: 4-hi gutter+flushdraw 3-ways - i checked back. everyone i've asked said to bet this, so i probably misplayed it. one problem i had w/ betting is that, given stack sizes, i'd have to call it off (or make a tiny 3b to put them in) facing a c/r. i also disguise my draw if i check. also, by checking, i can rep a weak A or biggish pocket pair and expect them to c/f sometimes on the turn. idk.

hand 6: i decided to bet, for a few reasons, a)i expect the same amount of action from Ax if i bet as i do from any like that starts w/ a check, b) i don't expect to induce bluffs 3 way w/ stacks the way they are, and c) it's tough for somebody to turn a strong-but-2nd-best hand, so there's little value in slowplaying.
